I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in January of 2023. It soon spread to my lymph nodes. It was very aggressive, and I started treatment the following month. I did chemotherapy for 6 months. It made me very sick – I know it’s all a part of the process, but it was a difficult time. Once I finished chemo, I underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction. Following this, I underwent radiation therapy and immunotherapy. I will have surgery this summer and am trying to keep myself healthy and exercise.
