I was diagnosed mid November 2023. At 29 years old, I never thought my life would change so drastically. Being a mother of two baby boys ages one and two at the time and a wife to my loving husband, I was so devastated to hear the news. But I stood strong for them and myself. I started chemo the day before Thanksgiving last year. The plan was to do six cycles of chemo and each cycle consisted of three weeks. The first two weeks were treatments and the last week was a rest week. I just finished chemo on March 15, 2024 and am now doing targeted therapy. Chemo definitely wasn’t easy but thankfully I finished and got through it! Praying & baking has helped me keep peace during these hard times, I believe that I will get through this. Fighting and praying is a part of my daily routine with this battle and I won’t give up.
