I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2015 when I was 23 years old. During treatment, I had a stroke because of the chemotherapy and was in the hospital for several months. I eventually finished treatment and was in remission for seven years. In 2023, I got Bell’s palsy and the right side of my face was paralyzed. This led them to discover that my ALL was back. I am back in chemo and will be in treatment for the next two years if everything goes well.
