At 39, my world was flipped upside down by hearing the words “you have cancer.” Right before Thanksgiving of 2023, I had a biopsy on an enlarged lymph node. It came back positive for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I began further testing through the holiday season and started my chemotherapy treatment in the beginning of January.
