Hello my name is Savannah and I’m 18 years old. I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February of this year. I’ve received numerous blood and platelet transfusions. My treatment consists of chemotherapy and meds.
When I was first diagnosed I had a tough time with all the physical and emotional changes that were occurring. It took me about a good month and a half to realize I was going to have a new “normal.” Since my diagnosis, I’ve learned to give myself grace and take it one day at a time.
