I’m a 34 year old husband and father of two daughters. I was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a childhood bone cancer, at 33 after a bladder cancer misdiagnosis. Easily missed as the Ewing’s had consumed my bladder and metastasized to my lungs. After 11 cycles of chemotherapy and 28 cycles of radiation we learned that the tumors in my lungs were growing despite the current drugs. The current plan is a chemo change from IV chemo to an oral medication to target the tumors growing in my lungs.
