Most of us have become experts at filtering our reality to keep the people around us at ease. We share the versions of our story that are easiest for others to hear, while the real, raw truth of our experience often stays tucked away. Reclaiming The Narrative is an invitation to change that.
In partnership with Motus Theater, the Dear Jack Foundation is hosting an exclusive preview of Reclaiming the Narrative: An AYA Storytelling Project, featuring six incredible AYA cancer patients and survivors sharing their real, unvarnished experiences.
This event is a live dress rehearsal as our storytellers put the finishing touches on their pieces. Don’t expect a polished, flawless production — instead, show up to bear witness, offer encouragement, and support these incredible storytellers as they share their unfiltered truths on their own terms.
This virtual screening is open exclusively to members of our AYA community, including patients, survivors, loved ones, caregivers, and AYA healthcare and support professionals.
