Join this special edition of Dear Jack Foundation’s Letters with Love program designed by and for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients, survivors, and families.
Navigating cancer as a young adult comes with unique challenges, but it also brings a powerful shared understanding. Letters with Love: AYA Community Edition is a warm, dedicated space to gather, connect, share space, and craft meaningful notes of hope and encouragement for Dear Jack’s LifeList participants currently in active treatment.
Led by the Dear Jack team, this relaxed, community-focused hour gives you the chance to hang out with peers who truly get it while making a direct, tangible impact on young adults facing treatment today.
What to Expect:
- Community & Connection: A welcoming, peer-focused environment where AYA patients, survivors, and loved ones can come together and share space.
- Impactful Note-Writing: Hear about current LifeList participants and write words of love, strength, and solidarity to support them through treatment.
- Flexible Participation: Chat with fellow participants out loud, hang out in the chat, or simply craft along quietly in good company.
- Come as You Are: No card-making expertise required! Whether you’re full of energy or feeling low-battery, you are welcome here just as you are.
What to Bring:
- Paper, envelopes, and your favorite writing or decorating utensils (pens, markers, stickers, or whatever you have on hand!).
