What do you want to leave behind for the people you love? We often think of “legacy” as something far in the distance, but it is actually built in the small, intentional choices we make every day. Inheritance of Hope invites you to a warm and inviting workshop designed to help you explore your personal legacy and discover new inspiration to grow it.
This one-hour session is an opportunity to slow down and consider how to build something meaningful that will outlast you. Beyond personal reflection, this is a space to connect with friends and peers, spurring each other along in ways that benefit not just yourself, but your family and your community. Most importantly, every participant will have the chance to begin creating a no-cost, priceless gift for their loved ones during the call. Don’t miss this chance to be intentional with your days and your story.
What You’ll Learn:
- Intentional Living: Strategies for recognizing the “legacy moments” in your daily life and how to lean into them.
- Legacy Mapping: Creative ideas and inspiration for identifying the values and stories you want to pass down.
- Meaningful Connection: Engage with a supportive community to share insights and encourage one another in the legacy-building process.
- The Priceless Gift: Practical guidance on creating a lasting, tangible gift for your family that costs nothing but carries immense value.
About Our Speaker:
Jill Thompson didn’t think much about intentional living until her best friend, Kristen Milligan, was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer at just 30 years old. Sitting front row to Kristen’s journey, Jill watched as her friend approached each day with purpose—preparing for her death while fully embracing life. Kristen never missed an opportunity to speak truth to her children or to teach, inspire, and encourage others. Because of her intentionality, Kristen’s life and legacy continue to impact countless people more than 13 years after her passing. Jill lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband and strives to live each day with that same intentionality, as a wife, mom to four adult children, and Senior Director at Inheritance of Hope, a nonprofit devoted to helping families find joy and hope in the midst of terminal illness. Since joining the organization at its founding in 2007, Jill has seen firsthand the beauty and strength of building a lasting legacy. As Public Relations Director, she is passionate about connecting others to the mission of Inheritance of Hope—whether by inspiring families, engaging donors, or building meaningful partnerships that carry the mission forward.
