Claiming Your Calling is a three-part series designed to help AYA participants uncover what truly drives them and transform that insight into meaningful, purpose-driven work. Through guided reflection, practical tools, and real-world strategies, participants will explore their values, strengths, and lived experiences to identify what feels most aligned for their future.
In this first session, Discovering Your Why, we lay the foundation for your journey. It’s easy to feel lost when navigating life after or during a diagnosis, but your unique perspective is a powerful compass. We will dive deep into the core drivers that motivate you, helping you distinguish between simply having a job and pursuing a true calling that resonates with who you are today.
What You’ll Learn:
- Core Value Alignment: Identify your fundamental values and learn how they serve as a roadmap for your professional and personal choices.
- Discovery Toolkit: Learn practical tools for uncovering your unique strengths and passions, including journaling prompts, assessments, and visualization exercises.
- The Power of Lived Experience: Explore how your personal challenges, interests, and history can be used to shape a meaningful future.
- Defining Your Path: Engage in a discussion on the critical differences between a job, a career, and a calling.
