In this session, Sissy Silva from Cancer and Careers (CAC) will guide us through the practicalities of being a working professional in the AYA community. About Our Speaker:
Sissy Silva is the Senior Manager of Programs and Spanish Resources at Cancer and Careers (CAC). With a background in psychology from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Peace, Conflict, and Development Studies, Sissy has a deep-rooted passion for advocacy. Her experience in mental health research and the labor movement (including work with the American Federation of Teachers) allows her to provide expert guidance on the intersection of health, labor rights, and career development.
