When you are navigating cancer treatment or survivorship, “what’s for dinner” can feel like an overwhelming question. Between fatigue, “chemo-brain,” and changing taste buds, the kitchen can become a place of stress rather than a source of healing.
In this supportive and practical session, Sheila from Seeds of Nutrition shares her personal “survivor-tested” strategies for making nutrition manageable. This isn’t about complicated recipes or hours of standing in the kitchen; it’s about learning how to “fuel” your body in a way that respects your energy levels and supports your recovery. Whether you are prepping for yourself or trying to feed a whole family while managing treatment, this session provides the tools to move from overwhelmed to empowered.
📘 What You’ll Learn:
- The “Low-Spoon” Strategy: How to meal prep during weeks when your energy is low and your time is limited.
- Healing through Food: Nutritional staples that support the body after intensive treatments and stem cell transplants.
- Family-Friendly Fueling: Tips for creating meals that meet the survivor’s nutritional needs while still appealing to the whole family.
- Smart Shortcuts: How to use frozen, pre-cut, and pantry-stable items to build high-quality, anti-inflammatory meals.
About Our Speaker: Sheila is the owner and founder of Seeds of Nutrition. Her passion for holistic nutrition began after she experienced her own health challenges. In 2005, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After completing both conventional treatment and a stem cell transplant, nutrition played a significant role in her journey back to health. Her first-hand knowledge of nutrition facilitates healing and enables overall wellness for the cancer community.
