The holidays are often painted as a time of joy, celebration, and togetherness β but for many people impacted by cancer, this season can also bring stress, grief, pressure, or a complicated mix of emotions.
In this supportive and thoughtful session, Dr. Elyse Heidelberg will help us explore the emotional experience of the holidays β especially for AYAs navigating cancer or survivorship β and share strategies to cope, connect with your values, and find moments of meaning, no matter what your holiday season looks like.
π What Weβll Explore:
π The wide range of emotions that can show up during the holidays
π§ββοΈ Coping strategies for when the season feels heavy, overwhelming, or lonely
π―οΈ How to focus on what matters to you and create meaning
π€ Resources and ideas for seeking support when you need it
Whether you’re managing your own emotions or supporting a loved one through the holidays, this session will help you feel seen, grounded, and better equipped to take care of your mental and emotional well-being.
