Support the Dear Jack Mental Wellness Box for AYA Cancer Patients
Help Dear Jack to remove the stigma of asking for mental health support when going through cancer treatment as a young adult.
Mental Health Matters.
Did you know? Rates of depression and other psychological disorders are substantially higher in young adults with cancer when compared with older adults, and therefore the need for mental health and wellness resources within the AYA cancer space has never been greater.
In partnership with Find Your Anchor, the Dear Jack mental wellness box was created to remove the stigma of asking for mental health support when going through cancer treatment as a young adult. The purpose of this box is to provide mental health resources to young adults in active cancer treatment nationwide.
These boxes will be sent to every LifeList participant in 2022, distributed to hospitals nationwide and will also be available to any AYA currently going through active cancer treatment at no cost.
In order to provide this essential resource to our AYA friends and family undergoing treatment, Dear Jack is asking our community of donors to help us raise $10,000.
$100 will provide 5 boxes to young adult cancer patients who need mental health support during a trying time. $10,000 will fully fund up to 500 Dear Jack Mental Wellness Boxes to be distributed in 2022.
