I was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma on August 17th, 2021. I was a normal 18-year-old girl with perfect lab numbers and no suspicion of cancer but I had a lump in front of my ear for about a year and I decided it was time to get it checked out.
I had a needle biopsy and a regular biopsy where they took the whole tumor out. After going to several doctors, I was diagnosed with lymphoma. It is hard to be an adult alone, but even harder with cancer. I feel as though everyday I am in pain somehow. It is hard to get out of bed with all of the little things caused by the chemotherapy but I am about to hit maintenance and I am so excited not to go to the hospital so often!
