Lexie was diagnosed 17 years ago, at just two years old, with a primitive neuroectodremal tumor in her brain. Her cancer has come back multiple times over the years, from her pelvis to her lungs to her brain. She’s had multiple rounds of treatment including radiation and surgeries. Unfortunately, she can no longer receive any treatment because she just does not qualify anymore. She is on full-time hospice. On July 10th, 2021, she had a stroke that left her paralyzed on the left side. With everything she’s been through, she still has a smile on her face and is a joy to be around. She continues to fight for her life daily and her family is trying to and take her places and give her things that she enjoys as her time is very limited.
