Hunter

Memoriam Warriors

I am Hunter, a 20-year-old that graduated from Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado in 2017. Towards the end of my junior year of high school, on July 23, 2016 my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) at the age of 17.

While spending six months in and out of the hospital, I completed my senior year of high school online. During this time, I also received a stem cell transplant and was able to walk with my class for graduation.

I was in remission for two years and over those two years I started going to college to become a veterinary technician. I also had an amazing job at a small animal hospital. On July 30, 2018, I found out my Leukemia had relapsed. I am currently inpatient exploring options for a final cure so I can get back to my life.

Hunter’s Life List:

  1. Spa day with my mom and grandma.
  2. Broncos tickets for my boyfriend and I.
  3. Weekend vacation in Estes Park in a rental house that is big enough for my family of 12 and has a pool and hot tub.
