When I was 18 years old, I started having pains in my left eye, as well as severe headaches. I went to an eye specialist, and they found that I had a tumor in my eye and others in several parts of my body. I started chemotherapy soon after, and three months later, I was declared to be cancer free. I started getting ready to go to college and even got my port removed. However, a month later, I began getting headaches and had terrible brain fog. I went back to the hospital, and the doctors found a very aggressive brain tumor. I had surgery to have it removed, and I was placed on a stronger chemo regimen. I am currently finishing my last round of chemo and I will have a stem cell transplant soon.
