Our family was hesitant to share my cancer journey at first, but the prayers and support we’ve received have been truly heartwarming. It all began with knee pain that worsened over time. After an X-ray, MRI, and bone scan provided no answers, a biopsy on May 15 changed everything. The next day, I was diagnosed with fibrosarcoma, a malignant tumor in the fibrous tissue of my upper tibia.

I immediately began chemotherapy, spending much of the summer in and out of the hospital with my mom by my side, while my dad took on extra responsibilities at home. On August 8, the tumor was successfully removed, and I had a full knee replacement with a metal plate inserted. I’m currently relearning how to walk and continuing chemotherapy through the end of 2025.

This journey has been financially and emotionally challenging for our family. Despite everything, I was able to attend my high school graduation — a moment we will always cherish. I look forward to starting college once this chapter closes and remain determined to overcome this challenge with strength and hope.
