When I was diagnosed on July 1st of 2024, I was 19 and very scared for my future. When I was first told I might have blood cancer I thought my life was over like this would be one of those sad cancer movies. I started treatment almost immediately after being transferred to Mayo Clinic. Ever since I started my treatments I’ve gained a little more hope, but it’s still hard considering the circumstances. Right now I’m completing my second course of treatment which is a month long infusion from home and afterwards we are looking into a bone marrow transplant.
