LET’S CREATE TOGETHER

Calling all artists! We had such success with our first Dear Jack t-shirt fundraiser, that we want to do it again! Only this time, we want to spread the LOVE and print merchandise designed by a member of our Dear Jack community!

The top three designs chosen by the DJF panel will be voted on by our community, and the winning design will be made into a tee and sold to benefit the Dear Jack Foundation.

100% of the proceeds of any t-shirt sales will go directly to Dear Jack quality of life programs for AYA cancer patients and survivors.

THE DETAILS:
  • Artist may submit more than one design. Design must be themed around the mission and/or the artist interpretation of the actions surrounding the Dear Jack Foundation.
  • Please avoid any Andrew McMahon lyrics that are not related to Dear Jack, as well as images of Andrew McMahon or his likeness.
  • Design needs to be an all encompassing design and cannot be Life List or Breathe Now program specific.
  • All Artwork must be a single work of original and previously unpublished material created by the Contest entrant, must not constitute copyright infringement or fraud, and must not have been submitted to another contest, promotional event or for publication. The Artwork must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of Dear Jack, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
  • Do NOT include the Dear Jack logo in the design – this will be added once a piece has been selected for printing.
  • Maximum of 8 colors per design. 1-3 colors preferred.
  • Maximum file size is 10MB (recommended resolution: 300 DPI)
  • Photographs or design with photographic backgrounds will not work for printing
  • Design must be in digital format and able to be easily applied via screen-print to clothing items.
  • Submission file should be jpeg or png – winning artist may be asked to provide additional art files as needed.
  • Dear Jack Foundation will be creating this community design through Bonfire.com. For more specific design details please visit their website.

  • HOW IT WORKS:
    Dear Jack Foundation will be accepting artwork via the application from 2/14/19 until 3/14/19, at which time the Dear Jack panel of judges will collect all designs and select their top three pieces. By 3/25/19 the top three designs will be selected and the artists will be contacted. Starting on or around 4/2/19, the top three designs will be posted on the Dear Jack Facebook page via a Facebook poll, and the community is invited to vote on which design they think should be the next Dear Jack merchandise campaign.

    The winning design will be turned into a small merchandise campaign via bonfire.com – not exceeding 21 days. The winning Artist is to receive a merchandise item of their choice from the campaign and will be given full credit for the design via social media.
